White Plains News is a hyperlocal journalism platform that combats disinformation by transforming information into tangible resources for the immigrant community of Westchester, NY. To achieve this, we have developed two disruptive AI tools:

SUTITA RIMAY: A fact-checking bot that utilizes forensic analysis and GIJN protocols to detect deepfakes and disinformation in real time, thereby cleansing the information ecosystem reaching the community through private networks.

HISPABOT: A virtual assistant that leverages our verified database to connect citizens with free health, employment, and housing resources, preventing them from falling victim to scams due to a lack of guidance.
Both tools operate under our "Information to Action" model, ensuring that the truth is always accompanied by a practical solution.
